The touchSMS API lets your application send SMS and MMS, receive replies and delivery receipts, verify phone numbers with one-time codes, and manage contacts, groups and opt-outs. It is a JSON REST API authenticated with an API key.
Base URL
https://app.touchsms.com.au/apiMost endpoints live under /v2 (for example https://app.touchsms.com.au/api/v2/sms). The verification (OTP) endpoints live under /v3. All requests must use HTTPS.
What you can do
- Send messages: up to 1000 SMS per request, with scheduling, metadata and MMS. See Sending messages.
- Receive replies and delivery receipts in real time with webhooks.
- Verify phone numbers with a one-time code using the Verify API.
- Respect opt-outs and keep separate opt-out lists per campaign or brand.
- Connect AI assistants to your account with the MCP server.
